St Margaret’s College presents Legally Blonde: the Musical. Based on the novel and hit movie, about the famously positive Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner for not being ‘serious’ enough. In an effort to prove to Warner that she is more than just a blonde, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Ultimately, she defies expectations and manages to stay true to herself, stay kind, help others while maintaining her delightfully pink personality.
So clutch your chihuahua and get ready to ‘Bend and Snap’ and embrace the outrageously glossy barbie world that is Legally Blonde.
The lead role of Elle is being played Lucia Tully on the Monday and Wednesday evening, and by Amy Jones on the Tuesday and Thursday evening.
